Overview
At Lee & Associates of Illinois, I started as a Marketing Coordinator and transitioned into the Interim Director of Research position. In these roles, I helped to re-design and update the branding of the marketing materials for the office. This included eblasts, brochures, market analysis documents, agent listings, transaction announcements, quarterly reports, property analysis documents, and more. When I started, there was no consistency in the branding for the office except for the logo. I also noticed that the market research and reporting were not written with the client in mind. It was straight industry data but didn’t explain to a client or potential client what it meant for them. By redesigning the marketing materials, I helped my brokers relate the market data to their clients in a more comprehensive way, which resulted in closing sales quicker and more effectively.
Below are some samples of the different marketing materials I worked on directly.
Market & Property Analysis Example
One of my projects as the Director of Research was to design a document that would fully showcase a property listing. This document would be used for the brokers to present to potential buyers and would go over building specs, the local markets, cost projections, and any other information that would be needed to help a buyer decide to buy the property. This is a template of the document I created (built in InDesign).

Quarterly Market Report
As the Director of Research for a commercial real estate firm, I worked with the Managing Director and the brokers to redesign the quarterly market reports for the Chicagoland area. This is a sample of the redesigned report. Before the redesign, the market reports gave the raw data for what is happening in the markets. As someone who was new to real estate and learning about the industry, I didn’t know what that information meant and thought, “if I don’t understand this, would my brokers’ clients and potential clients understand what it meant? I decided to redesign the marketing report to make the raw industry data transform into telling the story of what is happening in the market.
Quarterly Submarket Report
This is an example of the quarterly submarket newsletters I created for my brokers.
